The world’s biggest celebration of history’s sexiest dance is happening right here, in downtown Buenos Aires. Every year, people come from all over the world in their droves to see both worldwide professionals and BA’s local artists swirling, stamping, twisting and lunging their way through some of the most impressively professional dances you’ll ever see. Buenos Aires’ world famous festival takes over the streets for the 11 days that it’s on, with hundreds of free dancing displays to marvel at, and if you fancy joining in then there are dance lessons of all levels available for all, for free. The festival is organised by the Argentine Ministry of Culture, who know full well how incredibly popular the celebration is, and what incredible publicity it gives their country. As such, the festival is very thoroughly done.
