A bit of background:
We started the company in early 2004 and wanted to improve on the existing booking engines that are online at the moment. Obviously to compete in the marketplace we had to look at the project from a commercial viewpoint but we were determined not to betray our own travelling roots.
The three that decided to proceed with the project have all got extensive backpacking experiences worldwide and we all had a great time doing it(we have all had dodgy times away too, of course!), and, having hit 30's wanted to use our skillsets to stay in a travel related industry so we decided to start HostelMania.
We now have over 20 members of staff and have offices in Spain, Gibraltar and the UK and, with your help, we want to be the household name synonymous with Online Hostel Reservations!
